internship.

I appreciate you are disappointed for not being shortlisted for the next stage of interviewing.
It is difficult to provide feedback for each candidate considering we have received 550+ applications in the last 3 weeks alone. Only less than 5% of candidates were invited to take the TM assignment. We had some outstanding candidates who were shortlisted for the next round of interviewing due to their relevant skills and experience, closer to what we are looking for.
You have a strong academic record but no commercial experience or internship exposure which is obviously preferred.

A quanto pare non è piaciuto il fatto che non avessi altre esperienze lavorative, che sono ovviamente preferite al background accademico (?!?*)
Come dire che bisogna essersi già allenati per potersi allenare...
Senza contare che sul loro sito ponevano molta enfasi sul background accademico invece...
Boh, mi sa che devo provare con le compagnie sponsorizzate dalla mia università a questo punto.
*Il lavoro per cui ho applicato consiste a grandi linee nel risolvere problemi di probabilità. Almeno il 90% è tecnica, il restante 10% è negoziare il da farsi per gestire gli imprevisti non trattabili a suon di statistica. Ad esempio la comparsa della variante Omicron potrebbe rientrare in questo 10%.
