Problem:
Does there exist any $x >= 0$ such that the following equality:
$x + sqrt(x+sqrt(x+sqrt(x+sqrt(...)))) = x * sqrt(x * sqrt(x * sqrt(x * sqrt(...))))$
holds?

Nice problem: can I print (in spoiler) a solution?

First step: Let's define a function $f(x)=x+sqrt(f(x))$ where $f(x)>=0$
We want to prove by induction, that's a recursive function (just because we can).
Since $x+sqrt(f(x))=x+sqrt(x+sqrt(f(x))) rArr x^2+f(x)+2xsqrt(f(x))=x^2+[x+sqrt(f(x))=f(x)]+2xsqrt(x+sqrt(f(x))) rArr sqrt(f(x))=sqrt(x+sqrt(f(x))) rArr f(x)=x+sqrt(f(x))$
By substitution, the process can be repeated ad infinitum.
By expanding the function into an infinite sum, we have that $f(x)=x + sqrt(x+sqrt(x+sqrt(x+sqrt(...))))$
Second step: Let's define a second function $g(x)=xsqrt(g(x))$ where $ { ( g(x)=0 if x=0 ),( g(x)>0 if x!=0 ):} $
Hence, the following identity holds true $g(x)[x^2-g(x)]=0$ only for $g(x)=0$ and $g(x)=x^2$
Third step: let's find out for which values of $x$ the identity $f(x)=g(x)$ is true.
For $x=0$ follows that $f(0)=0+sqrt(0)=0$ The identity holds true, hence $x=0$ is a solution.
For $x!=0$ $f(x)=g(x)=x^2 rArr x+sqrt(x^2)=x^2 rArr x=2$
Final step: Let's choose $g(x)= x * sqrt(x * sqrt(x * sqrt(x * sqrt(...))))=xsqrt(g(x))$ and prove that it satisfies our definition.
$g(x)=0$ only and only if $x=0$ Check!
$g(x)=prod_(n = 0)^(oo) x^[(1/2)^n]=x^(sum_(n=0)^(oo) (1/2)^n)=x^2$ Check!
